A couple of XD's

Post by nothing on Thu Aug 26, 2010 9:15 pm

XD40 Subcompact refinished in Black T
XD9 Service with 3.5# Competition Trigger done by Springer Precision, Barsto Match Grade Barrel, Polished Internals, Extended Mag Release and Dawson Precision Adjustable Sights. I'll be adding a solid guide rod soon (waiting on it to arrive), and then get it finished in Black-T.

That rear sight looks like it would be hard to see.

Nice guns.

They are available in tritium or fiber optic, but I prefer the blacked out version for the range. It really helps me focus on the front sight.

Now those are great guns!!! I have the XD45tac and the XD40sc and love that sub 40........ Is that a Warren Tactical rear and HI-Vis front on that service model.

The sights are Dawson Precision front and rear. The rear is adjustable. I looked long and hard and the warren tactical before deciding to go with the dawson sights. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I really want the XD45 tactical, but I've blown my gun budget this year. I almost ashamed of how much I spent on the XD9 Mods. Right now I have more tied up in it than my Kimber.

I've owned 2 XD's and preferred their ergonomics over Glocks. Great guns!
