first 700
finally got the camera out of the box and took some pics of my new 700/308 tactical. this is a fine little rifle. 20" bull barrel and nice houge stock and not that heavy at all. put my Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5x16x50 on her and am ready to hit the range. I will be slow at work next week and will hit the Mag to break her in. the new X-mark trigger isn't bad at all it is set at 3.5lbs from the factory and I lightened it a little just to see how it works. there is NO CREEP AT ALL IN THIS TRIGGER and it is nice and crisp. can't wait to get to the range.
thanks Jonathan and friends not sure who on here(user name) helped me get it but couldnt pass her up.

Nice rifle. You'll really like your 700 ESPECIALLY in 308win. Just get yourself a Badger Ordinance bolt knob and you you'll be well on your way to tactiCOOL. I do have one complaint about the stock 700 though. The extractors aren't the best in the world. It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep a couple on hand in case you break one. You could always go the route of having a Sako style extractor installed.

We have one but the stupid customer wanted us to give it to him after he paid for it. Dang customers! If Remington makes some I will have a few.
