Counting Down

Well folks...23 more days til our muzzleloading season.
How many of you Mississippi folks are going to be using a muzzleloader during your so called "primitive" season?

I might, it kinda depends on if dads hunting or not. I might use his .444.

I'm going to go hunting paper targets tomorrow morning. Does that count?

I still haven't repaired the muzzleloader I bought before last season... thanks for the reminder

Quiglley, what's Kansas law on primitive weapons. Can't tell what you're sitting on in your avatar, all I can ID is that Airstream and what is that rifle you got under there, a sharpe's ain't that long. May be a while getting an answer, you'll be in the woods time you get this. Good Luck and send us some picks of a big buck from Kansas.

Sid that rifle is the Sharps...34" barrel.
Far as Kansas law it's muzzleloaders only. Figured I'd slip out back for awhile when I get in from work in the morning with the little .40 caliber flintlock longrifle...want to fill a couple doe tags with it. Won't really get serious til Wednesday morning...took my last 3 vacation days then. Haven't been seeing any big bucks...know they're out there though. Will be taking the .54 then.
