Maybe they think if you can just get it in far enough it might just work....30-06 in 8x57. That's some of those square peg in a round hole folks...
That's right...I forgot about Brandon Lee...I was looking up some of that a few weeks ago...

Because I'm a woman I would not use a gun for self defense.

Thankfully I bet you would. I have never been able to get my wife to come shoot. She shows no interest even when I tell her how we can spend a good day at the range or 1 hour for getting feet wet. I remind her how many times I've been far away...I would not want any woman to have to struggle/fight someone if the need escalated to full self-defense. It is wrong for a man or woman. Or in some good documented cases a child. I fervently believe in the full right to self-defense and hate it when someone asks, "you wouldn't really do anything...would you". In worst case...yes. Avoid it if can...d**n right...P.S. Mrs. Hammer I like your sentence by your Location:

Exactly my thoughts on it. I will avoid it if I can but wouldn't hesitate if that's what was needed. Its ok let them think cause I'm a woman I'm meek and would never pull the trigger on the gun I am pointing at them. It works in my favor. And thanks to many freaks troll websites looking for info like where you live.

I just read one on another forum, maybe there is some truth to this I dont know but sounds like BS to me.

Guy says his friend has a 9MM that jams frequently, unless he grips it firmer then it jams less.

In texas it is illegal to shoot a man in the back...but you can shoot him in the legs until he turns around

Had a LEO tell me tonight you cannot legally carry with a CCP to ANY type of sporting event. Also that with a CCP you cannot carry at the local fair because it falls under special events listed in the ineligible places you can carry. (This special events part is still being checked into)

The effectiveness of a wooden spoon for combative purposes is amazing

...theyre good for getting a kids (and some adults) attention too
