Scope or mounts that screw on

I bought that AK-47/LR that I posted on another thread, I took it to Surplus City's Gunsmith this evening to see if I could get some holes drilled to mount a rail. Unfortunately they couldnt do it because the reciever is pressed aluminum welded in two pieces with a seam across the top. So I was wondering if anyone knows of some kind of scope mount that doesnt need to be screwed in but might be slipped over the receiver and tightened down with screws on the side, or anything generally like that to mount a scope.
