Vintage Match at Magnolia this Saturday (9/11)

Post by M1GarandFan on Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:40 am

We are having a Vintage Match at Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club in Byram this coming Saturday (9/11). This will be the last Vintage Match for the year so I encourage everyone to come. We had a great time at the last match, though there were several sore shoulders afterward lol . The match will start at 9:00 a.m. so I need all competitors there by 8:45 a.m. Any help getting set up would me appreciated cheers . The match fee is $10.00 and ammo will be available to purchase at a reduced rate for the match. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

P.S. If this is your fist match at Magnolia, please make sure to bring a signed and noterized affidavit provided by CMP http://odcmp.com/Competitions/Affidavit.pdf

Any pre-1960's military bolt action rifle including 1903 Springfields, U.S. Model 1917, K98 Mauser, Swedish Mausers, Argentine Mausers, British Enfield No. 4s, Mosin-Nagants, etc.

Can a friend of mine shoot his AR just for funsies? I'll be shooting my 1903 Springfield but I have a K98 and ammo if anyone wants to play with it.

I think we "draw the line" at VB matches. ONLY vintage bolt-action rifles. Sorry.

Hey SGF,
I plan to try and get there by 7:00 a.m. I already got ice and drinks today instead of trying to do it in the morning and get delayed like usual. Gotta get things together tonight, just got off job #2 a little while ago. I'll make sure to bring the "patient" with me. Also some 25m targets too. sniper
Sorry for the omit on the Yugo. I should have included it along with my Argentine Mauser What???
