June 4th Shoot - Driving Directions to Camp McCain Rifle Range

The below post was from our trip last year to Camp McCain. I have reposted it for our June 4, 2011 AR Shoot:

Latitude: 33°40'59.32"N
Longitude: 89°38'36.68"W

Driving Directions:

Take the I-55 and exit at the E. National Guard Troutt Road / Camp McCain exit located just north of the Duckhill Exit. Exit and proceed East onto E. National Guard Troutt Road.



Travel east for approximately 3.3 miles and you will intersect with US Hwy 51. Continue east, crossing Hwy 51, and proceed approximately 2.7 miles to a four way intersection – You pass the repelling tower on your left as you near the intersection. Camp McCain buildings will be to your left.



Continue east, crossing the intersection. The road now turns into Greensboro Road. Travel approximately 1.1 miles and Greensboro Road will turn 90 degrees to the right – turn right staying on Greensboro Road (do not go straight).



Travel approximately 2.6 miles and you will see Camp McCain Range Control on your left. Turn right into Range Control.



Continue until you come to a T-intersection. Turn right at the T-intersection and proceed approximately .7 of a mile and turn left. Travel approximately .2 of a mile and you will arrive at Rifle Range 2B.



NOTE: There are signs once you get to Range Control - Follow signs to Range 2B.

This is where you are going!!
