Semi-Auto Revolver

Post by TankerHC on Fri Nov 12, 2010 10:39 am

This is the Mateba Unica Hunter Semi-Auto Revolver. Me personally, I have never heard of or seen an Semi-Auto Revolver. But here is one.

Never heard of one either. Looks like either a 3yr old or highpoint designed it.

There is an older semi-auto revolver. It was the Webley-Fosbery .455. They used one in the old Bogart movie "The Maltese Falcon". Do a Google search for a photo and a ist of specs.

i just dont understand WHY....if there is some benefit to it then sure....but i dont see it. isnt the beauty of a revolver the simplicity and reliability? the more complex you make it the more likely it is to fail

Should dampen the recoil some. I agree it's kind of odd. I kinda like it though, but I also kinda like the Gyrojet and the Dardic(sp). The webley-fosbury can also be seen in the Sean Connery movie Zardoz. However, I recommend you stop the movie immediately after you see the pistol because the movie SUCKS!
