Re: January IPSC match
Oh no...I'm afraid to watch it....
Sorry bout the DQ bro...We had another DQ on stage 5 today...Some days's you are the hammer some days the nail
It was good to see you today Beladran...
and Yeah...I was wearing my www.msgunowners.com T-shirt...
I was so slow they shouldn't have had any trouble reading it
It was good to get rid of a bit of "rust"
Now where is that good run of Cliff?.....
scores posted later when we get em

Re: January IPSC match
I found Cliff just in time to see him fire his last shot. I was to bummed out to wait another 30 min to watch him shoot again
How did that new fella do

Re: January IPSC match
Don't know yet...He probably shot my gun better than I did
My Glock 17 had double duty today....
Don't sweat it...2 types of shooters..."Those that have been DQ'ed and those that will be"
I hope you'll come shoot with us again...trust me...it probably hurt the RO more than it hurt you...He really hated doing it

Re: January IPSC match
I hold no ill feelings, when they asked if I was ready I thought they had said make ready. When the RO flipped out I knew then I had miss understood. This might be a good point to make to the wife why I need electronic muffs. I plan to be back next month to redeem myself. How did they other guy get dq'ed?
Re: January IPSC match
Swept the gun backwards after He had un-loaded and showed clear...
broke the 180...
can't rest on your laurels till the gun is holstered..
R.O. had a rough day..R.O.'ing...remember the R.O.'s shoot also...
Scores will be posted later today

Re: January IPSC match
I was fairly happy with my "Black Magic" bullets today...Only had one failure to fire and no feed or ejection problems...
One failure to fire is one too many however...
Lots to learn about USPSA shooting...you never stop learning...never stop growing...and even the old folks get to play...what's not to like.?

Beladran, man I hate that. I enjoyed the match, looks like neck had it down.
Thanks cliff for the loan of everything. I had fun hope everyone else did too.

Sorry you were dq'ed. It happens to every shooter at some point. Please come back and shoot with us.

Beladran wrote:O I will be back next month you can count on it
That's great!
I can tell you from experience that it hurts the RO more than the new shooter when a DQ happens.

Thanks for helping the new guy, Lane.
Keep working on the basics, and you'll do fine.

Neck, I can't stress enough how much I appreciate you helping some new guy we didn't even know. I already had a Glock, mags and mag-pouches loaned out, and with your help, a new shooter was able to compete.
Thank you,
Cliff

Re: January IPSC match
neck, the honor of last place belongs to me today.. I think everyone should give you massive cool points for helping that guy out. I should have let him use my rig after I got DQ'ed. He would never touch a dirty old glock after feeling a sweet 1911
Re: January IPSC match
+1 on that 1911 beladran.
